Q:What type of camera do you use? Your shots are always so crisp and clean looking!
A:I use all Sony equipment, most of everything you see on my wall photos are taken with a Sony Alpha a700, the newer version of this camera does not have half the honey comb focus area this one did. If you buy it now you will probably have to get it aftermarket unless you get lucky and find a store with one still in stock. The sensor is a Sony CMOS, i.e. same sensor in the Nikon D300. It always pays to do your research when buying new equipment. As a note for the money on today's market the Canon 7D is about the best body to buy right now. I really appreciate Sony's dedication to producing a top quality product, rated in the same category as Canon by Consumers Digest #1 for overall product quality.Reply:I have a Canon Rebel T1i. Its good but I can't get them to look like that! Would memory cards have anything to do with it? I have a regular memory card because the one for my camera is really expensive!
Reply:
I use Sandisk Extreme Cards but, the primary difference b/t these and the ultra is the speed it will write files to memory from your camera which is a big plus when shooting a lot of large files such as RAW, a lot of the difference is learning how to manipulate the gamma light intake of your camera in manual mode. Something that is hard to do in Aperture mode. By this I mean understanding how to set you shutter speed, aperture, ISO and exp. compensation all together to cut harsh gamma light from reaching your sensor.
